I also go by Whoolia, which is a nickname I got from a very dear friend of mine who also loves animation.

I'm currently enrolled in the character animation course in Animation Mentor (AM) and I am loving every second I get to study and explore this amazing art form.

I was born in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, where I also spent most of my life and live right now. When I wasn't there, I was living in Germany and Japan. I loved the experience of living abroad and really adore getting to know different lifestyles and cultures. I was most likely drawn to Japan because of my huge love for Ghibli and Hayao Miyasaki. There's so much diversity and so many stories that can be brought to life in animation, that I can barely contain my excitement.

I have always loved animation and everything art, but it took me a while to realize that I could actually work in this field. Since I realized that creating such amazing movies and characters was actually an option I just couldn’t think about doing anything else. I'd travel the world to work with people who are as excited about the medium as I am.
